Sandra W. Balzhiser, M.A.
Sandy is the owner and founder of S. B. Associates, a training and consulting company which has been in business since 1989. Her business specialties include communication and leadership skills, customer service training, motivational presentations and career counseling. An experienced corporate trainer, Sandy earned her Master's degree from Binghamton University. She is the former director of the Excellence Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (ExCEL) at Broome Community College.

Bob Blenn
Bob has the ability to deliver highly engaging learning experiences that balance humor and vital skill development. He has an extensive background of successful leadership positions in all major facets of business operation coupled with college degree work in organizational behavior. In Bob's programs, use of the latest tools and techniques, case studies and role-plays enhance learning retention.

Joanne Conley
Joanne worked for more than 20 years with numerous companies in both the private and public sector, and then founded her consulting company. Since then her business has grown to provide consulting in employment law, human resource policy, organizational change, strategic planning and human resource development. Her educational background is a blend of psychology, adult education, and human resource development. She holds a B.A. in psychology, an M.A. in adult education, and is certified in training and human resource development.

Noah Durham
Noah has always been fascinated with the fusion of photographic craft and imaging science. This interest led him to pursue graduate work in both photography and printing science at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He recently relocated to Ithaca after having spent eight years working in New York City where he managed digital imaging operations at Christie's Auction House.

Bob Edgecomb, Ph.D.
Bob is the Web Communications Manager at Tompkins Cortland Community College. He is also the owner of a consulting and software development company established in 1994 that specializes in Internet consulting, and custom web, database, and multimedia applications. Bob brings his experiences from the business world to the classroom and provides context for the learning objectives and examples for discussion.

Tricia Edgecomb
Tricia has provided hands-on computer training for two decades, starting with Lotus 1-2-3. She teaches in the computer science department at Ithaca College and provides training and consulting in Microsoft Office products to local organizations.

Carole Fisher
Carole is a certified ServSafe instructor and has been a food safety, nutrition, and consumer educator with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County for seven years. She has given many workshops and trainings in food safety for individuals in the food service industry as well as nonprofit agencies. Through her position with Cornell Cooperative Extension and collaboration with the Tompkins County Health Department, Carole stays up-to-date in the latest food safety recommendations and guidelines. She received her M.S. in nutrition from the University of Vermont.

Rich Gallagher
A nationally known and critically acclaimed author on communications skills, leadership and workplace culture, Rich Gallagher has trained thousands of people with his unique, results-oriented approach. A former customer service executive and corporate manager who has been dubbed "one of the founding fathers of modern customer support." A humorous and engaging speaker and workshop leader, Rich is always happy to customize his programs around *your* specific issues, while using his expertise and national platform to dramatically change the way your team works with the public - and with each other.

Don Gay
Don has been a certified NYS Grade IA Water Treatment Operator for 30 years. Past Superintendent of Water for the City of Binghamton, Don has been teaching Water Treatment Courses A, B & C for over 10 years.

Garry Haraveth
Garry has used five separate and distinct computer aided drawing (CAD) software packages in his 30 years as a mechanical engineer and of those software programs, AutoCAD is the one package he finds most effective. You'll find his real world experience makes the class more interesting too.

Eric Machan Howd
Eric has been working in the desktop publishing field for over 15 years; he owns and operates a small press that publishes poetry chapbooks and other literary collections. He has completed graphics design projects for Ithaca area theatres, restaurants and other businesses. He always brings 'real-life' situations and problem-solving scenarios into his workshop training, so participants not only learn the software, but they also learn how to trouble-shoot the problems that arise everyday with the software!

Jim Hull
Jim Hull is currently the Director of Counseling, Career and Transfer Services and has facilitated Strengths Quest workshops with students and professional staff at the college and at professional conferences. He is a graduate of the Chair Leadership Academy, recipient of the Chair Academy 2006 International Exemplary Leader Award and a past recipient of the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Professional Service.

Bill Kleitz
Bill has been giving workshops to upgrade the technology skills of employees in local industries for 18 years. Most of his training material is based on two of his best-selling electronics textbooks published by Prentice-Hall. Hands-on experiential learning is a hallmark of his programs.

Noralyn Masselink
Noralyn is a professor of English at SUNY College at Cortland with over 20 years experience teaching professional and technical writing courses for Central New York businesses, industries, and not-for-profit organizations.

Louise McGee
Louise is an authorized New York state instructor for infection control workshops. A full-time faculty member in the nursing program at TC3, she has developed the infection control curriculum in the TC3 nursing program. Louise has also taught day care personnel, EMTs and nursing home employees.

Kate McKenzie
Kate McKenzie specializes in creative and spirited training, coaching, and communications. Her professional passions include promoting diversity awareness, and her work in this area has won her an award for Broadening Awareness of Cultural Diversity. Kate is a graduate of Cornell University and holds a master’s degree in adult education. With more than 20 years in the business world, she knows that training must be customized to meet your needs, focused on practical application, interactive, and fun!

Mary Lu McPheron
Mary Lu is a senior extension associate with the Family Life Development Center at Cornell University. She brings to her classes 15 years of experience training child protective service caseworkers through the former New York State Child Protective Services Training Institute and six years of direct NYS Child Protective Service casework. She received a B.A. from Boston University in sociology and an M.S. from Syracuse University in adult education.

Keith Millman
Keith is a working artist with roots in photography and new media. As an educator, he approaches learning as organized play. Currently Keith is developing a new media program at TC3.

Susan Monagan
Since 1992, Susan has been a public speaking coach. Clients have included Rutgers, Wesleyan and Brandeis Universities, and the Empire State Entrepreneurial Assistance Program. She is presently the Manager of Audience Development and Special Projects in Ithaca College's Department of Theatre Arts.

Carmen Munson
Carmen Munson is a life and career coach, counselor and consultant. She has over 11 years experience helping people achieve their goals. Carmen also develops and facilitates workshops on a variety of topics relating to emotional intelligence, communication, customer service and entrepreneurship. Carmen is a NYS Licensed Master Social Worker holding degrees from Cornell and Syracuse University, and a graduate of B-Coach, a Professional Business and Life Coaching Organization. She is also an accredited administrator of Myers-Briggs Personality Trait Indicator and Emotional Competence Inventory ECI 360.

Susan Palé
Susan is a principal of a human resources training and consulting firm based in Syracuse. She has over 25 years experience in the design, development, and delivery of training and has worked with corporations, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies. She specializes in the development and delivery of customized training programs based on the unique needs of client organizations.

Margery Pask
Margery is a gifted computer applications teacher. She has been successful teaching to both corporate and academic students for the past 12 years.

Laura Peters
Laura is an experienced educator dedicated to fostering personal and organizational development. Her highly interactive programs provide you with tools to solve real-life people problems by helping you gain insight into the way you relate to others. Drawing on ten years of management experience as well as degrees from the University of Michigan and Cornell, she teaches programs in leadership development, a coaching approach to management, teamwork, and stress management. In addition, she administers the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator, and teaches Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Laura has developed and delivered programs for academic, business, non-profit and community audiences.

Marsha Powell
Marsha is a professor of computer forensics. She has been teaching at TC3 for over 20 years, teaching forensics for the last six years. She puts theory into practice by working in a local law enforcement computer forensics lab.

Steve Schuster
Steve Schuster joined Cornell in April 2003 as director of information technology security. His responsibilities include Cornell identity management, security policy implementation and education, network infrastructure and data protection and monitoring, security incident response and analysis. Steve has been instrumental in introducing new security technologies and practices at Cornell that are consistent with a growing number of legal requirements, security threats and community expectations. Steve’s security work has included organizations within the U.S. government, Fortune 500 companies and in higher education

Tammy Smith
Tammy is a TC3 faculty member in computer information systems. Tammy is a MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer), MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solution Developer), CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster), CIW CI (Certified Internet Webmaster Certified Instructor), and is published in MCSE Windows Network Infrastructure. She holds an M.S. in computer science, is industry experienced, and is happy to cater to beginner, intermediate and advanced students.

Bob Stezzi
Bob has trained thousands of people from over 150 organizations in leadership skills, team development and personal effectiveness skills. Bob's background includes 10 years of people management experience. A former senior staff instructor for IBM, Bob developed and conducted leadership/management and professional development courses for managers and employees. You'll find his training programs to include both lecture and discussion and helpful take-away class materials. Participants in Bob's programs consistently rate them very effective and find they are able to apply the practical information right away on the job.

Sally Sumner
Sally is a certified SAVE trainer who has worked in the human services field for over 25 years as a county probation officer, coordinator of substance abuse prevention education for area public school and currently is the guidance teacher for a K-4 building. She has assisted schools on numerous occasions during times of crisis.

Bill Vernola
Bill has over 20 years' experience in the business world using and teaching Microsoft products. He is passionate about teaching others, and making the learning experience positive and fun! Whether you are a beginner who is nervous about the workshop, or an advanced learner seeking skill enhancement, you'll benefit from his programs.

Lori Wahila
Lori is a teacher, not just a trainer, with over 25 years experience in the classroom and in the field. She has a varied educational background in Accounting, Math, Computer Science and Engineering that brings together all the elements of business applications.

Kathryn "Khaki" Wunderlich
Kathryn "Khaki" Wunderlich, J.D., is currently TC3's Associate Dean of Learning Support and Organizational Development. She has extensive experience in strengths-based personal and organizational development and is a Gallup Certified Strengths Trainer.

Bob Yavits
Bob has been the instructional software specialist at TC3 since 1988. He has been instrumental in helping TC3 faculty develop online courses, and has been providing workshops and courses on web page coding for the college since the inception of the World Wide Web.
